After recently ending an abusive marriage, I do a lot of work informing people about domestic violence. We all need to be aware that there is a way out and that help is out there. Together we can all be heard and make a difference.

This is so true. Thank you for speaking out loud, it can´t be shown enough. I grew up in an abusive family, my mum and I freed ourselves when I was 15, that was when our life began. We had the help of lots of friends we didn´t even know before that they were our friends. I wish you all the best to overcome the pasttime terrors, and I wish you people who care for you. God bless you for being a survivor and for getting out, and now making people aware of this horrible crime against women, but it isn't always physical it too can be verbal and mental abuse, which can be harder to prove, thank you for your bravery and for speaking out
