The photos within the Olympic rings are current photos showing different venues in Sarajevo where the Olympics were held in 1984. It was saddening to read that the podium where triumphant athletes once stood, executions took place a mere 8 years later during the Bosnian War.
I thought as the Winter Olympics approaches this might mean a little bit more.

Now this is a real good sample of lost grandeur. A place that once was build for honouring sport hero`s, than used as an execution place and still standing there. Thank you for posting this page in my challenge
