My Grand Daughter Darcie with her winning scarecrow that she made, with the help of her Mother, for a school competition. This gorgeous scarecrow sat in my vege garden for quite a number of years before it began to fall apart. It still sits in the barn as I haven't had the heart to throw it out. It actually worked quite well as the feather bower used to flutter in the breeze which kept the birds off my tomatoes
