About this scrapbook page: |
For the You Were There challenge. Hope enough of the background shows. I know I've done pages about this before but it really was a very important happening in WW2 - the ONLY British soil occupied by the Germans. Also a momentous happening in my life from the age of 2 until I was 7. Making this page gave me goose bumps. Thanks for visiting - will enjoy reading your comments.

Wow...gives me goose bumps. I have an aunt who was actually drafted into Hitler's army. She said she didn't know anything about what was going on....she was busy "chasing the boys." Her exact words... After the war, she left Germany and never went back until the mid-70's - Amazing stories

What a beautiful memory, yet very intense. It was such difficult times and every friction of every moment has moulded everyone as their are today. Your absolute stunning page is superbly done. Thank you for sharing your wonderful story, so that we may be more understanding of each other and share more compassion. Perhaps in that way we can get respect also into balance. A simply stunning page!

Fantastic page scrapped beautifully with a powerful strong message. What ever happens to us in our early life should be documented talked about and shared its what makes us who we are today.
