I really truly miss our city centre. If I had known that most of these buildings would have fallen down or been pulled down for safety reasons I would have taken many more photos. This particular street is where many people died in the Feb 19th quake, and where my brave Mum had to pick her way through debris, destruction and death to get home. I think there will always be a lingering sadness for what we have lost. The heart of our city has suffered so much.

We visited Christchurch a few years ago and we were so sad as we watched the news over here in the UK. Great photo and page.
