2nd photo he is 2nd from the right and has one of the bells under his arm
Photo's are both copies so not the best in the world

Thanks for doing this wonderful page of your great grandfather Diane, I was so interested when hearing that he was the last town crier in your locale & that you have his handbells.The photos & his history are fascinating, particularly as a lamplighter & town crier.He must have signalled many important announcements but none so important as the outbreak of WWI.How very proud you must be.Brilliantxx
