Those pesky SBF gremlins were at play - I tried many times to post this yesterday but here it is at long last. A nuisance when it's in a challenge.
Researching NZ flowers I realise that we have very few true natives that are very showy we have 'borrowed' many from close neighbours. Our natives are ferns, shrubs and trees. Still I will include those that bloom in my garden and other parts of NZ.

This is a wonderful idea for the challenge Joce! Both plants/shrubs look rich in colour and texture. Wonderful photos of Adam from baby to handsome young man and a very lovely photo of you holding baby Adam. I look forward to viewing both flora and family photos for the rest of the alphabet
