We had our life planned, so we thought, for our future years to be together alone and quite young; since we married young and started a family right away! But our never turned into being YES we will adopt and raise our grand-daughter and start over raising a family again! It wasn't easy to do this; because at this time no grand-parents were allowed to adopt grand-children: We broke the mold! OMG! It's like we are leading the same life, in different bodies! I know you feel as fortunate and blessed as I do! This is a horrible disease, passed on from generation to generation. We have traced it back to my great grandfather and now Gabriel is also bipolar. His chances of having bipolar children are 100%. Thank you for sharing such a heart warming part of your life!
