Saw this poem and that it was just wonderful... Posted it in the Take me out to the "Ole Ball Game" challenge, even though it is an old page as I think it is something we all need to remember when we are watching kids! :-) C/V always appreciated.

I love this verse and to it I would like to add - that all grown ups should learn its not just the winning but the taking part that counts and instead of ridiculing kids for loosing they should yell "Good try" xx

Wonderful touching poem , my heart goes out to these little boys, I once had one playing and finally gave it up, just because grown took it soooo sericous, it was no longer Fun anymore! God Bless!
