I have recently moved to a village called Pen Y Cae, a hop, skip and a jump from Llangollen and my favourite view of Dinas Bran. The castle looks different in different lighting and weather consditions, and to me is a magical place. It is a very steep walk but worth it, especially to see the aqueduct at Froncysyllte where the canal goes over the valley. Stunning views.
