In 2002-2003, John and I went to Illinois for Christmas. John returned home right before New Year's but I stayed because Dad was having surgery. Poor John wasn't home but a few days when Sam got fed up and decided to go looking for me on his own! LOL He was gone for 11 days!! Ever since that time, I catch Sam looking out the window like he is remembering how things were and wishes he could do it again. =)

Something I need to make clear... nobody LET Sam out... he is an "escape artist". He has gotten out on his own on a number of occasions... pushed the screen out of a window one night and was out and chasing a cat who had walked through our yard... it's just his will to be "FREE". =(

Sam is probably remembering how it was and glad he is NOT out there. My cat ran away for 2 weeks once and he certainly didn't venture too far after that. Wonderful page, lovely layout, lovely kitty
