"Une belle journee" translates to "It's a beautiful day"...and it's a beautiful day for Smudge!
We vetted her today, she went to her new home tonight, is settling in already, and is a lot more comfortable than many of us thought.
When I asked about her story (because I thought she'd been at the shelter forever), the volunteer who took her to her new home said, "Smudge came to us in 2004. She was brought to us by another rescue person who had been fostering her for another group and needed to find a
