About this scrapbook page: |
Emotionally, I must confess this was not an easy page to create. I actually had to take several breaks, In my imagination I could hear the panic, screams, cries for help, the chaos on the decks. Well we can not imagine what these peoples went through with fear and horror. Too many lost their lives on a ship that the world did not believe could sink. Let them rest in peace. Thanks for looking and for your support. Pelle

Stunning page - you have captured the essence of this tragic disaster in a touching, haunting layout. It is so sad to think of all the wasted lives....and they didn't have enough lifeboats,so mostly the poorest families and the crew were left.

Yes I am sure there have been many emotional moments by not only the makers of these pages but by us the recipients. What a tragedy for those poor souls who traveled in good faith that all would be well. A beautiful tribute to them all.

I can imagine how emotional this must have been. You have conveyed a sense of realism in the starkness of the monochrome and your amazing lighting Pelle. This is a brilliant piece of artwork that marks the centenary so sensitively. Your design, textures and lighting are amazing and convey the sense of horror and fear without sensationalism. Phenomenal work and your touching description Pelle!
