About this scrapbook page: |
'In 1972 Shirley Temple was diagnosed with breast cancer - the tumor was malignant and removed and a modified radical mastectomy was performed. Following the operation, she announced it to the world via radio, television, and a 1973 article for the magazine McCall's. In doing so, she became one of the first prominent women to speak openly about breast cancer.'
This page is rather late for the challenge, but scrapping this page was important for me...dedicated to my cousins Shell and Susie

Fabulous page of Shirley! I love the effects and colors. I did know she had breast cancer and spoke openly about it. I'm sure it touched a lot of women's lives. 10
