For the Bridges Challenge! This is the Vidyasagar Setu or 2nd Hooghly Bridge as it is generally called. It joins the twin cities of Calcutta and Howrah, in West Bengal, India. Built across the Hooghly river, a tributary of the Ganges, it was opened to the public on 10th October 1992. You can read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vidyasagar_Setu

oh this is awsome love the nautical ellements that frame is so cool suits the water and that very art deco bridge. the bridge is so cool it kinda looks like when you put nails on a board and wind black cord around it to make a picture if you get what a mean anyway this is a awsome bridge page good luck in challenge and thanks for the info about your wonderful bridge 10+
