This Bald Eagle landed in a tree 200 feet from where I had my boat anchored for fishing. I grabbed my Canon 40D and attached my Canon 400 mm. L series lens to it. Then I began to focus on the Eagle and got ready for some fast photo taking action. All of my photos were taken with this lens and camera and held by hand because I was in the 14 foot boat with 3 other people, so I had No room for a Tripod.
