My grandfather loved to sing for us when we were kids and later for our children and grandchildren. The old rugged cross ( in Dutch ofcourse) was 1 of the songs he sang for us. Just a few years before he passed away 1 of my cousins recorded him singing very old Dutch folksongs and Ì`m so lucky to have a copy.
In this photo he was 87 years old. He was 92 when he passed away.
