Between his 4th and 12th year Rick needed 16 times new tubes. So I always tried to make our ride to the hospital as pleasant as possible and singing and playing music was a part of that.
Love me tender by Elvis Presley was one of the songs I sang for him. That song had a very relaxing impact on him. Now that he has passed away the song has a different meaning to me. I had to let him go, but I will always love him tender.
