For the ***Scrap my country - ITALY *** challenge.
Italy is one of the most awe inspiring countries I have ever visited, especially Rome but in particulary The Vatican City. Saint Peter's Basilica within the city is amazing. The highlight for me was standing in front of Michael Angelo's marble sculpture 'La Pieta'. Credited to 1499, over 5ft high x 6ft wide and behind bullet proof glass, it gave me goose bumps. I hope you like my trip down memory lane.
