A view weeks ago I took my friend Janet to visit my mother. On our way there we passed the Afsluitdijk a 48 kilometer long dam that divided the Waddenzee and the formal Zuiderzee (now called Ijsselmeer). The dam was worked on from 2 sides and where the dam was closed is now a monument to honour the people who worked on it. My grandfather was among them. So I wanted to show her that and we snapped some nice photo`s of each other.
