Snow leopards have long thick fur, the base color of which varies from smoky grey to yellowish tan, with whitish underparts. Unlike other large cats, snow leopards can't roar; their vocal tract lacks the thick pad of elastic tissue that enables other cats to roar.Their eye color, pale green or gray,is very unusual for cats.
