Made for Shirley's "Favorite recipe" challenge.
My family love this cake and I have taken it many times to church and never bring any home. Sometimes I just sprinkle with powdered sugar rather than making a glaze.

My mom used to make this cake, when done she would poke holes with a fork and pour apricot juice in it then make the glaze with apricot juice and powdered sugar! I LOVE IT!!

It sounds so delicious, especially with the sour cream to keep it light and moist. I am going to save it, even though I don't cook. I don't even think I have a cake pan. Mind, at it to the list of 'Things to cook when Mowg visits America' LOL Love the embellishments on the chain - the whole page looks great.
