I wrote this for my mom for her mothers day present. She got pregnant at 20 & was not married, & The man didn't want to be a father. He told her to abort me, so she left him. She was single, pregnant, and alone when She meet my Dad. He didn't care I wasn't his, He said he would raise me and told everyone I was his. So my mom's actual life is what inspired the lines for my poem. My mom is wonderful and always thought about us kids first.
