NZ is a Rugby mad nation. It would have to be our main Winter sport. The 'Haka' is performed before every international match played by the 'All Blacks' our national team. The Haka originated with the Maori & there are many variations the most well known being the war dance. The All Blacks perform one that is called the 'Ka Mate' If you get a chance check it out on U Tube. It is quite fascinating.

We have a number of friends who are Maori and the Haka is important to them, as are many dances. This is a great page Mary, and your skills with sketching and waterpainting are really excellent. This is a fantastic page.
