My husband gave me the sweetest little wooden rocking horse (I extracted it and shrunk it down - it is up in the right top corner over top of the gingham heart) - but the most wonderful gift he gave me was dressing up as Santa for our Granddaughter (it took lots of coaxing!) and seeing her little face light up...at first she was a little apprehensive and whispered "Nanny I'm scared, but just for a second, before realizing who Santa was! This photo is my husband Peter, all dressed up...ho ho ho!

Oh, I just wrote a long comment and it disappeared. Honestly. The page effects and embellishments are absolutely beautiful - I love the warmth of all the colours and the rustic, old fashioned feel to it - like Christmas in the old days. Your pages so often take me back to days when life was more simple and meaningful. Or is that just old age creeping up?
