I was recently reading one of my journals and came upon this quote, spoken by a Polish girl to Ruth Bell Graham back in the 1970's. "At last you have come, and you have brought the sunshine with you." Then I was thinking of family members who are far away from me during this Christmas season and of how the quote would describe how I would feel if either of them walked through my door. Merry Christmas to my SBF friends. As the new year begins, may you take sunshine with you wherever you go!

What delightful imagery in this work - the little girl, carrying her sister. It is so tender and the softness of the background, and those warm golden colours, make it all the more tender.
