I was looking through some old photos and came upon these two of my husband, Gary, taken the same year I was born (1952). I tried to create the illusion of "me" in the corner, looking back in time at my future.

I think you've well and truly succeeded in your aims for this page, it is, as so often with your art - awe inspiring. We have an old cardboard suitcase not unlike the one you've used, brings back memories - Mums old photos are in it. What a beautiful little boy he was.

I could not make out the iconic figure just above you - I am intrigued by it. Looks religious but may not be. Your artistic mind is so exquisite - it swirls and glows and weeps and wonders. Unbelievably beautiful and so visual. What a little doll he was, and that 'sort of smile'. And in the old style suitcase with the lining to the left. I can see the faintest of cracks in the photos (I enlarge) and the colours. The muted sepias of the little boy that go out and blend in to the crushed blackberry colours. I love the play of light here and there.
