For the Stamp Challenge starting soon. The River plays a big part in our lives. It flows through the middle of the town so we cross it often. It continues north for over 200km to the mountains in the Central Plateau. It is used by canoeists and by jet boats. National/international rowers compete on it. We have a paddle-steamer that takes tourists on short trips. It is beautiful in any season. You are welcome to visit at any time.

I think you and Mary should get jobs making stamps for NZ. Marvellous photo of your home area, I'd love to live near a river like that. Sounds like a beautiful area, and I love the way you have included a map which puts it all into perspective. Excellent design skills!
