About this scrapbook page: |
It wasn't until many years later that I was told my son pulled out in front of the teen driving the van. I ran out of the house bare foot and went to the hospital with him in the ambulance. The accident happened 3 blocks from home!! The poor kid that hit him was the one who came to my house to get me. To think I got into a van not knowing who these kids were and went with them - Wouldn't do that now-a-days.

I'm so glad he lives to tell the tale. Must have been a very worrying time for you. I went gray when I was 20 before I had my son!! Great that you have these photos - lovely page.

I think boys and bikes - they think they are so free and going so fast. Honestly, Boy in his wheelchair is just as 'death defying' with all his ridiculous 'stunts'. I agree, they have a lot to answer for with the grey hair. I can imagine your panic, but glad he has lived to a ripe old age :)
