The little fairy bottom right is telling my story. In 1966 we left our Island home, Guernsey, and for 5 weeks we sailed across oceans to reach our new home, New Zealand. We had with us our three children below the age of 7. Guernsey people (Guerns) are nicknamed - donkeys. NZlanders of course are Kiwis. So we metamorphosed from donkeys to kiwis in 5 weeks. So I'm an ex Guern and we travelled in 66.
