It seems strange that this may be the only pic of Blackie. But this was taken Long before digital cameras when you limited film and
had to parse out those shots. I wish there was of a shot of us together because she was a wonderful friend to me.

I love the story and the photo is beautiful. You are so right about the old days when taking photos and getting them processed was not an every day thing. What sad things happened to her! I almost cried about the puppy myself. It's a precious page and I just love it.
