About this scrapbook page: |
They’re young… they’re in love and they kill people - Bonnie Parker (1910-1934) - Clyde Borrow (1909-1934).I wanted to remove any idea of crime. Very difficult to not see weapons! I was interested in the romantic aspect of Bonnie and Clyde. But I do not forget they killed 12 people (probably 18) ... However, it is almost certain that Bonnie has never touched a weapon during an attack. She was responsible for maintenance.

Wow wonderful page. One forgets, because they have been romantasized, that Clyde was a killer. When ever I think of Bonnie & Clyde I think of the banjo music from the movie (hubby plays banjo) & the words from the song 'Bonnie & Clyde they lived & loved together & finally together they died'

Wonderfully scrapped page. My husbands grandmother and her family lived next door to the Barrow family, and his uncle played with Clyde when they were kids. I have heard the family talk about it after we were married.

Brilliant page, so interesting to look at. Not quite Warren Beatty and Julie Christie, but they were a fascinating couple. I love the way you have colourised - very in keeping with the era.

The very first movie my husband and I saw together when we were dating was Bonnie & Clyde. I know, strange! But true. This page brings back memories. Beautifully done!
