The Philippines has a wide variety of Terrestrial or Ground orchids but nothing can compare with Waling-Waling. One of the most beautiful orchids in the world, it has the biggest flower size. An epiphytic, it usually grows on tree trunks though does not get nutrition from the trees. It can also be grown in pots or vases with a small piece of charcoal. It needs a lot of sunshine, water, fertilizer, and tender loving care.
