filipinos break into song and dance at the slightest excuse but harvest always provided the big excuse. even now some feasts mark the harvest season in many parts of the philippines. i can't quite explain the difference but it was different back then. i think for one even when there seems to be more noise now, there seemed to be more joy then.

The annual festival of my village is celebrated the third week of September. Former coinciding with the vintage (crop of the grape) a great party was celebrated and nowadays it continues being celebrating. Love your page, Kate!! 10+10
