For the scrap unusual plants challenge. I received this in an email once upon a time, and thought it was beautiful. Is it a hoax? I don't know. From what I have learned it is illegal to own or sell the seeds.

it seems real, wikipedia says it was discovered and identified to science in 1901 by botanist Joseph Dalton Hooker. beautiful and very interesting plant. excellent scrap.
