My youngest son and I (he's now 20 & having his 1st child in July) have a special bond together with this book. He still tells me that when I'm a little old lady, he will climb a ladder to my window & pick me up & rock me while saying this verse in the mommy version "as long as I'm living my mommy you'll be." I gave him his own copy of this book last Christmas for his coming baby & he read it as soon as he opened it to the baby in his fiance's tummy. This book holds such special meaning to me.
