I was lucky enough to have my camera ready when this Amish family passed us on the highway. I love the Amish and love their simplistic look at life. The lower picture I lifted from the internet. As they drove by I missed a perfect opportunity to take a picture, but when I saw the man lower his head so his hat hid his face, I backed off and respected their privacy...

Oh I love this. I love the Amish too. I use to live in Maryland and our family would go to PA in Lancaster County for trips.

I remember when I lived in Wisconsin we would always stop at a park on the way back to Menomonie from Greenbay Wi -- and there would be several Amish families. Great page it brings back good memories.
