Last weekend we had a mommy and 11 little ducklings in our front yard.They were the cutest ever....I was able to get pretty close to them to take several photos. They waddled basically 2 by 2 in a straight line behind their mom silently down our driveway.....across the street ...thru our neighbor's yard and down a steep embankment...only to meet up with a big fat cat. Fortunately for my husband guiding them none of the ducklings were harmed and were led by him to the safety of a swamp.

Awwwwwww...that's so cute. Last week-end when we went to visit my sister in Greenville SC we had to stop for a family of geese to cross the road. I was so surprised to see all the cars stopped to let them go. The babies were about half the size of their parents.

Love the shots..... we have this type of "motherly love" going on around us all the time.... amazing how Mom can lead them and direct them without even one audible sound!! Great job! P.S. Hope there weren't any nasty gators or anything like that in the "swamp".
