This little guy came into my yard to observe me taking photos of flowers. He got within 4 feet of me as I took the photos I wanted. He really seemed to be attracted to the Beep Beep of my camera focusing system.
Of course, it didn't hurt to have thrown him out a couple of handfuls of peanuts in the shell. ;-)
The photo was taken with a 55 mm. lens. :-)

awwww! that's one of the things I miss from my childhood...I grew up living across the street from a huge cemetary with tons of squirrels that would venture into our yard sometimes..I remember an albino squirrel that my dad had become friends with & would eat from his hand...they're such adorable little creatures & you've taken a fantastic photo here!!
