In the City of Punta Gorda local artists have painted historical murals on several of the buildings. This is the one by Charles Peck of the 1st City Council. The mural is in full color but I changed it to sepia for the challenge.

The sun pours its last rays in the tops of trees. I thought the light had been lost in other more "precious" countries. The swallows fly to the delight, to swallow the latest strips of the sun. I had forgotten the sun but I could find warmth in visiting your gallery. Finally, you have offered us the light that was not artificial. And that gift, throughout the winter.
