For Scrapbook a page of your Pet(s)challenge. Cookie and I are a long story together. She was 8 weeks old when I got her and the news that my husband had 6 months to live. She is my life long companion and 9 years old. My husband lived 7 more years. She curls up in my arms like a baby and was truly created for me by God for such a time as this.

such a beautiful page! I too got my youngest dog, a little shih tzu/bijon frise cross, Brandy, at 8 weeks old, a few days before my Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he only lived 3 more weeks. My little pup was probably the greatest help for me getting through this...I never knew I could love a pup so much...thank you for sharing your story, I am sorry for the loss of your husband. tracy
