for the challenge- Interpret This Quote-
When I heard this quote, I thought of my own life and my own shyness. I see myself as carefree and outgoing on the inside and yet others see me as quiet and shy. I've always struggled with being able to "fly" even when others were watching. I chose this photo because in college I would go out at night and walk on the railroad tracks by myself and I don't know why, but its the most carefree I had ever felt.

Oh Kate ... this page really moves me. I can relate so well to the feelings you have described. I've always had a longing to fly but have just never managed to get off the ground. great page. the balance between her trudging along the tracks w/ her suitcase and her misty wings goes so well with the quote. as for shyness.... I'm shy to. I like to quote 2 research results that say there is a corelation between shyness and intelligence. I'm not sure they're right, but I like the idea.
