A few months before Mark was born, his grandparents on his father's side lost their oldest son in a motorcycle accident. Just the year before, their second-born son died from a disease he had battled all his life. So after the loss of two sons, Mark filled a huge hole in their hearts. He was indeed their Little Prince! This is a picture of Mark with his PopPop, being read from a book that used to belong to his Daddy.

This page made me get choked up Frances because as a parent I can imagine the grief and loss that the Robinsons were going thru and then what joy Mark brought back into their lives. I love everything about this page and because I remember seeing Mark as a little boy with his grandfather this also brings back tender memories. Very moving.

Absolutely beautiful. I love how all of your pages tell a story. That is the best thing about scrapping...I don't know how anyone survived with out scrapbooks....LOL. I love reading the journaling and hearing the stories behind the pages. Almost like visiting with an old friend.
