This is my grandson Jason walking along the VietNam Veteran's Memorial Wall in Washington,DC 2 weeks ago on a very rainy day. The heavens still cry for our war dead soldiers. He was there with his mother and brother Stephen.This wall has listed 58,196 American soldiers who lost their lives in this terrible war. My husband served in the Army, and I am thankful everyday that he came home, but he suffers from combat PTSD and we live with this war still today. Entered in the Gray and Black challenge.

beautiful page. enjoyed reading your comments. we had the mobile wall here in Atlanta and I was so very moved by everything, I couldn't help but cry for our guys that lost their lives and the loved ones tracing names to a sheet of paper. one day I hope to see the real one in DC. very moving and emotional page. great job

I say THANK YOU to each and every VET I meet, They came home to hate, not one was saluted upon returning home, I salute each and everyone one of our Veterans. PTSD is a ugly residue left behind. I have a nephew that made it off Hamberger Hill, but has not been able to truly leave it behind. He has suffered much, I hug him and tell him how proud of him I am.
