This is my 4th page in the series of unknown ancestors. I'm sorry to say I have no idea who these people are. The pictures were in an album that belonged to TW Dykes dated 1885 who I think was my great-great grandfather. All 3 of these were on tin. Thanks for looking and sharing in some history with me.

It's so strange to think that these people are related to us and we have no idea who they are and what their lives were like. Photos on tin normally lose a lot of their clarity over time. You've done a great job of scanning them and bringing them back into sharpness. Great scrapping, Sis.

This is super fantastic... I did a little research on this name & came up with Florence Farthling w/o (widow of) T W Dykes... they were from headstones in a NC grave yard.. possibly them?
