About this scrapbook page:
My gg-grandfather Rev. George Washington Brinsfield. He has been noted as one of the oldest Methodist preachers to ever live. The small picture at the bottom shows him at a White River conference in Batesville Arkansas in 1902, which he walked a distance of 50 miles to attend. the old man sitting in the middle is him. He was a Methodist circuit riding preacher by faith and a hunter by profession. Through my genealogy research he has been an interesting character to follow.
