This is the 2nd page of my unknown ancestors. This photo was found in a album dating back to 1885. I believe the album belonged to my great grandfather. I wish I knew who this beautiful young lady was, how was she related to me. When this was loaded the word art lost it's clearity. If you enlarge it you can read it better. I wonder what kind of dreams she had. Thanks for looking.

Another wonderful heritage page, it has such a faded romantic feel. What an unusual pose she is in. Lovely job on the word art also, I am going to have to scraplift that quote. You make me want to do more genealogy research. Never enough hours in my day. :) Thanks for sharing your wonderful old pictures, they are so wonderful. History is so very intriguing.

Mom mom had a book like this too and I always bugged her to label the pictures so that we'd know who the people were but I never saw Aunt Mary's album and didn't know this existed. She is lovely. It's a great idea for you to do scrapbook pages of these old photos. I'm sure those pictures are hard to work with.

If you hadn't told me this was from Mom's side of the family, I would have guessed that this lady was related to Dad's side. She looks like a Smith to me for some reason. She was beautiful, wasn't she. And it isn't very often you see someone posing in this manner from that time period. I love how relaxed she looks. Beautiful page, Betty.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh so pretty!!! She was certainly beautiful. You created a stunning page....I have had the same thing hapapen with things losing clarity or blurring when uploading. Weird.....incredible that this photo dates back to 1885!! It wears its age a lot better than i do and I just date back to 1968....LOL. Looking forward to seeing more of your unknown ancestors, I just love these pages
