While cleaning out my dad's house I found an old photo album from my mom's side of the family. Inside it said T.W. Dykes , Salisbury MD, 1885. I don't know if this was mom's grandfathe's album or not, her father's name was Thaddaeus. Inside were some of the most wonderful photos I've seen. I have no idea who any were or the dates they were taken. I thought this lady was so beautiful. I would love to have known something about her. In the weeks ahead I'll try to scrap as many as I can. Thanks for looking.

Sweet Blending! Its such a shame we don't know more about her! I have a friend whose last name is Dykes from the Eastern Shore...maybe she'll know something...I'll ask around, maybe it'll end up that she's a long lost relative!

T. W. Dykes would have been Aunt Mary's father, I believe. I wonder if this lady was a sister of his. Why didn't we look through albums like this while Mom was alive, and ask her who they were? Wow. 1885. It just gives you shivers, doesn't it? She was indeed very beautiful. How sad that we don't know anything about her. This is a beautiful page, Betty. I look forward to seeing more.
