I just finished reading a book by Amy Carmichel about a man who lived in the early 1900's and spent his early adult years as a robber and outlaw. He was eventually captured by the love of Christ. And whenever he met people, he would sing these words to them as he described his life: "Lover of souls, Lover of souls ... what should I do, what should I do without Thee?" Those words have been going through my mind and my soul for the past two days. And I needed to express worship through art.

I agree with Nancy. Such a moment of helplessness and yet you've empowered it with your scrapping. How many times have we all been in that moment, arms stretched out for the divin grace that only He can bring. All I can say is...until you've been in that position yourself...you can't appreciate how powerful and moving this page is. Very well done.

It is very hard to be this free in one's worship where you raise both hands skyward along with your face completely tuning out those around you and just focusing on the One you're worshipping. Maybe it's easier for some than for others but for me this is an intensely private moment. This picture describes on the inside what I wish I could do on the outside so that they both lined up. Very moving!
