being the children of someone with bipolar disorder is not easy - my occasional escape to a world of my own, my temper tantrums (although never directed at you), my drastic mood swings like being a playful child one minute then in a quiet, crying fit in the next, like now. Yet, strangely you love me, and we are so close. Though sometimes I fear, are things going past me? Am I missing cues, forgetting something important to you? I'm sorry if that is so, I will try harder. I love you so much.

What a beautiful letter to your daughters, & so very thoughtful of you to keep your feelings out front for them. My son in laws father was bi-polar as well and never expressed his love for his children, sorry to say they were never close to him. Keep those feelings flowing! Hugs!
